A little bit about Jay.
I started my real estate career
in 1992 in Houston, Texas for a source of additional income. As a high school guidance counselor, I wanted to increase
my income with a part time job and the flexibility of real estate seemed to fit most easily into my 50+ hour weekly schedule.
Since making
the full time commitment to real estate in 1998, I have brought hundreds of buyers and sellers together for successful transactions. Invariably,
relationships with clients have blossomed into long lasting friendships, the most satisfying aspect of my career.
My family
relocated to the central Virginia area in the summer of 2000. I received my Virginia real estate license in February
of 2001. I have brought a few techniques from Houston (a highly competitive suburban market) that are not used
by any realtors in the area. In 2007 I closed 21 transactions totaling over $4,000,000. This accomplishment
earned me membership in the RE/MAX 100% Club.
When searching
for THE best real estate organization to join, I found RE/MAX to be the best fit for me. With RE/MAX,
each agent is an independent contractor. This means I have the flexibility to do whatever I deem best for each
client. I am not bound by company policy regarding set commission rates and advertising budgets. I pay
for it all from my own pocket, and my commission is set through discussion and mutual agreement by the client and myself.
RE/MAX also offers
a world-wide referral network that brings buyers and sellers together from a greater scope than simply local advertising can
provide. I wanted to associate myself with a company that prides itself in customer service and satisfaction. “No
one in the world sells more real estate than RE/MAX!”
